It is background verification you can run yourself, before you hand over keys, a deposit or a job. The person is never contacted or told, and you pay once per report with no subscription.

Is an online background check the same as police verification?
No. Police verification is carried out by the police and is still required where your city asks for it, for example for tenants or domestic help. A fraudcheck.ai report is a public-record check you read yourself; it complements police verification and does not replace it.
Is it legal to check someone's background in India?
Looking at public information, such as court case listings, published news and what a person has made public, is generally lawful when done for a genuine purpose. Accessing private data such as bank records, credit reports or Aadhaar details without authority is not, and fraudcheck.ai does not offer it.
