What is fraudcheck.ai?

fraudcheck.ai is an Indian online background check service: from a person's full name, father's or husband's name and city, it returns a ₹99 report of court cases across India, news mentions and public social media presence in about 5 minutes.

There is one product, the Person Insight report. You pay once per person, with no subscription, and the report is saved in My Reports so you can share it with family.

What problem does it solve?

It lets you read a person's public record before you trust them, without the days of searching that it takes by hand. Most families in India hire a driver, let a maid into the home, rent out a flat or pay a landlord a deposit on the strength of one conversation and a reference. Checking court records yourself is slow: the eCourts party-name search asks for a state, district and court complex one at a time, and a common name returns cases about other people. fraudcheck.ai brings these public sources together in one report.

Who uses fraudcheck.ai?

Anyone about to let a person into their home, their property or their family:

Where we came from

We started in 2020 doing verification work by hand for businesses. The requests that kept coming were not from companies but from families and landlords who needed one quick, affordable check on one person. So we built the product around that: three details, one price, one report, with the same checks available to platforms and agencies through an API.

How is a report built?

Each report searches three kinds of public source and shows only what matches the person you described:

1. Court cases across India from public court records, pending and disposed.
2. News mentions: published stories that name the person.
3. Public social media presence: public profiles found for the person.

Items are matched on name, father's or husband's name and city, and only items matched to the same person are shown. Everything comes from public sources, so read it with judgement: an allegation or a pending case is not a conviction. You can see the format in the sample report.

How we work

What does fraudcheck.ai not do?

It checks a person's public record; it does not verify documents, finances or identity. We would rather you know this before you pay. The report does not include:

• Police verification or a police clearance certificate
• Credit or CIBIL score, bank or financial history, or income
• Employment or education verification
• Identity, Aadhaar or PAN verification
• Driving licence or vehicle checks
• Property ownership or document checks
• Any guarantee about a person's character

Where police verification is required, for a tenant or domestic staff for example, the report complements it. It does not replace it.

How does fraudcheck.ai handle privacy?

The person you check is never contacted or told, and you do not need their ID numbers. You enter only a full name, father's or husband's name and city: no Aadhaar, PAN, phone number, documents or OTP. Reports use public sources only and are visible only in your account. Use a report for a genuine decision, such as a tenancy, a hire at home or a marriage proposal, and share it only with the people involved.
